Ladies, how would you describe the men in your life?
  • Simple?
  • Complicated?
  • Simply complicated?

The dictionary defines the word simple as - "easy to understand and not complex.'

Many believe that men are simple.  Give them sports, sex, food, a lot of liquor and/or a good cigar and they are happy.  This is a MYTH!

Contrary to popular belief, men are strangely complex. Women are stumped trying to understand them!

The Hidden Art Of Flirting- Part 3 - A Woman's Style

In part 1, I provided a background on the hidden art and hidden truths in flirting.

In part 2, I covered the subtle things that men do when they flirt and the troubling consequences of their actions.

This blog reviews how women's flirting techniques make them the masters in the art of flirting.  The blog is intended for men... Ladies, I know you will read this out of curiosity; (I know I would).

If you are new to dating, re-entering the dating scene or a practitioner of this subtle art, this blog is for you.  When it comes to flirting, women are more clever, subtle and trickier than men.  Women have twice as many flirting gestures.  The so called "weaker sex" can prentend to be helpless, sweet, innocent or act  professionally.  They can even show a lack of interest or contempt.  In spite of this behavior, they may or may not be flirting with you!

The Hidden Art Of Flirting - Part 2

This blog is a sequel to Part 1, where I explored the hidden art and hidden truths in flirting.  In Part 2, I will cover the subtle flirty actions of men.

Flirting is a subtle sexual language that can be hard to detect.  A skillful flirter is as sly as a fox.  He masterfully uses many techniques unbeknownst to his lover.  The skillful flirter is too sophisticated to make ogle eyes or drool to signal his interest.  He relies on his peripheral vision, creativity, intellect and the proximity to his target to make his moves.  These actions happen in a flash.  They take microseconds to execute.  Don't blink or you may miss the gestures and signs.  They are hidden in plain sight.  If you don't know what to look for, they will go unnoticed.

If you suspect your man has a wandering eye, be on the lookout for these signs:

The Hidden Art Of Flirting - Part 1

My Gosh!  You saw your lover flirting right in front of you. You are in disbelief!  Your're confused because you don't want to acknowledge what you just witnessed.  You ask yourself:

  • "Should I make a big deal about this?"
  • "Should I remain calm?
  • "Should I act like I didn't see anything?"
...the conversation continues in your head, "... I must be seeing things, my partner would not dare disrespect me, especially like this! ...  my partner loves me.  My significant other would never do that.  That's downright inappropriate and I am furious!!"

It really hurts when someone you love flirts with another.  It can even be a potential blow to your self esteem.  Don't you just hate when that happens?  Why do lovers flirt and what can you do about it?

In the previous blog, I reviewed the reasons why men cheat.  Since I am an "equal opportunity blogger", I would be remissed if I did not write about women cheating.  There are a variety of emotional, psychological and physical reasons why the so called "weaker sex" deceives and strays from their mate.  I have listed a handful of reasons for the inquiring mind.

Why Men Cheat

Why do men bother to get married if they are going to betray their bride?  This is the "elephant in the room", the "$64,000 question."  The truth is hidden deep inside of a cheater’s heart, spirit and mind. The hurt spouse and shocked observers can only speculate as to why the deception occurred.  If the cheater fesses up and honestly reveals the reasons behind the affair, the truth will be known.  If not, you will have to guess why married men cheat.

This blog addresses men's marital infidelity issues.  Yet, anyone in a serious committed relationship can benefit from this information.

“Couples are either divided fighting each other
or united fighting someone or something else.”
-- LBJ

After 23 years of marriage, resolving countless disagreements, researching partnerships and interviewing numerous guests on the topic of relationships, I consider myself a relationship expert.

One thing I have learned over the years is that there is no “one size fits all” approach to fighting on the relationship battlefield.  Anyone who has been in a long-term relationship can appreciate that fact.  Truthfully, discord is an inevitable and tricky distraction in any union.  Why do you argue in the first place?  Your personality, motives and fighting style determine why and how you spar.

How To Tell A Friend From A “Frenemy”?

Look around you…

Not everyone you think is in your corner is cheering for you.

You will meet a handful of devoted friends and many fake friends in your lifetime.

Hopefully, the number of true friends outweighs the number of bad friends.

To your dismay, your friend might actually be your “frenemy.” Frenemies are jealous backstabbing saboteurs.  They want something you have such as: a relationship or a career.  They don’t want you to have something they desire.  Their attitude is “if I can’t have it, neither can you!”

It is disheartening when someone you admire and thinks is a good friend turns on you.  Perhaps they were never a friend after all.
